What does ESP-A248 mean?
Tesla alert code in the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) module. ESP CAN - VDC message state fault Plausibility fault while monitoring of wheel direction. Check mounting position of rear left wheel speed sensor At least one wheelspeed sensor is mounted in the wrong direction. This error will be set if case one: 1 rotation direction of the sensor signal is in one direction and the other 3 rotations are in the other direction OR case two: 1 rotation direction of the sensor signal has no rotation and 1 rotation in one direction and 2 rotations in other direction. Replace WSS and check proper mounting. All wheel speed sensors show the same rotation for 20 seconds.
