Tesla alert code in the High Voltage Protection (HVP) module. The high voltage (HV) system has reported an over-current condition. When this condition is detected, the pyro disconnect is fired to protect the HV battery, the vehicle, and the vehicle?s immediate environment from potential damage.

Severity Notes

HVP-A007 is an Alert in the High Voltage Protection system. It is generally safe to continue driving, but have it checked at your next scheduled service.
