What does VCFRONT-A256 mean?
Tesla alert code in the Vehicle Controller Front (VCFRONT) module. The refrigerant compressor has a torn shaft seal. Replace compressor. HVAC cabin cooling (air conditioning) and powertrain performance may be limited. Refrigerant system performance indicates the compressor shaft seal is torn. Refrigerant system performance no longer indicates the compressor shaft seal is torn. The battery pump and air compressor eFuse has faulted. No power to the battery pump and air compressor. Powertrain performance may be limited. A fault is reported by the pump 2 HSD circuitry. A fault is no longer reported by the pump 2 HSD circuitry. The battery pump and air suspension air compressor will no longer work. Powertrain performance may be limited.
