What does VCFRONT-A494 mean?
Tesla alert code in the Vehicle Controller Front (VCFRONT) module. The 12V Battery is not within an acceptable temperature range to support an OTA update. The temperature of the 12V Battery drops below -20 degrees Celcius for more than 5 consecutive seconds. The temperature of the 12V Battery rises above -20 degrees Celcius for more than 60 consecutive seconds. The vehicle will block OTA updates to prevent power loss during OTA sequence.

The 12V Battery is not within an acceptable temperature range to support an OTA update. The temperature of the 12V Battery drops below -20 degrees Celcius for more than 5 consecutive seconds. The temperature of the 12V Battery rises above -20 degrees Celcius for more than 60 consecutive seconds. The vehicle will block OTA updates to prevent power loss during OTA sequence.
