PCS-A106
PCS_a106_clockSourceNotFromExternalCrystal
What does PCS-A106 mean?
Tesla alert code in the Power Conversion System (PCS) module. PCS bootloader configured the clock source to use the internal clock (INTOSC2), because the DSP has reported a missing clock from the external crystal oscillator On boot, PCS is not using the external crystal oscillator (XTALOSC) No clear condition during operation. The set condition is evaluated on boot, and will remain set until power cycled or reset. Internal oscillator is less precise, potentially has system behavior impact Charger detects unknown grid configuration Charger state machine clears faults Inability to AC charge, possibly due to incompatible grid

Severity Notes
PCS-A106 is an Alert in the Power Conversion System system. It is generally safe to continue driving, but have it checked at your next scheduled service.
